  18. The PhonePak is autoconfig, AKAIK.

  20. Speaking with THE PhonePak developer, he told me that the PhonePak uses
  21. some rarely used, though documented fast timing operation of DMA transfer
  22. which was found to have bugs in the Zorro III bus implementations.  It has
  23. been said that 16bit RAM is needed to avoid this problem. Later versions of
  24. the A3000/A4000 chipsets and/or CPU cards were also supposed to have fixes
  25. for this problem. OTOH, the PhonePak does work fine in a 2000 with an
  26. '040... :-)
